Katie Beckett Program

The Katie Beckett Program makes it possible for children with disabilities to receive the care they need at home instead of in a facility. Families can choose between two options:

  • Part A (Medicaid Coverage): Full Medicaid benefits for children with complex medical needs who qualify for institutional-level care but can live safely at home. This ensures access to medical care, therapies, and nursing support without the burden of facility placement.

  • Part B (Monthly Stipend): Financial support for children with disabilities who do not qualify for Medicaid. The monthly stipend helps families cover medical expenses, therapy, and other essential care needs.

This program gives families peace of mind and helps children grow in a safe, familiar home environment.

1915(c) Waiver

The 1915(c) Waiver Program provides long-term supports for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, focusing on independence and community living. Services include:

  • In-home personal care and daily living assistance

  • Respite care to support family caregivers

  • Skills training for greater independence

  • Access to community activities that build social connections

This waiver gives individuals the opportunity to live fulfilling lives at home and in the community, while reducing the need for institutional care.

ECF CHOICES (Employment & Community First)

The ECF CHOICES Program empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to pursue independence, meaningful work, and active community life. Supports are designed around three key areas:

  • Employment Services: Job coaching, career development, and workplace support.

  • Independent Living: Training in life skills and daily routines to encourage self-sufficiency.

  • Community Participation: Opportunities for social, recreational, and civic engagement.

With ECF CHOICES, individuals gain the tools and support needed to achieve their goals and thrive in the community.

CHOICES Program

The CHOICES Program supports older adults and people with physical disabilities who need help with daily living. It offers an alternative to nursing facility care by providing:

  • In-home personal care such as bathing, dressing, and meals

  • Homemaker and companion services to promote comfort and independence

  • Coordinated care that addresses medical, personal, and social needs

CHOICES helps individuals maintain dignity and independence by receiving care at home, surrounded by family and community.
